My name is Sarah Yeomans and I am a full time artist and art tutor based in Northamptonshire, UK. I work in traditional media such as oil paints and oil pastels. I was born in 1984 and have made art since I could hold a crayon.
I paint because I want peace. I want solitude. I'm seeking a world where I can exist in silence. I don't want to be overstimulated with colour and detail. My paintings are calm, quiet moments in time marked by soft, neutral colours, simplicity, and spaces to rest. When I paint I'm transported to a quiet place where I can hear the silence, smell the fresh air, and feel alone.
